JOSH TURNER GETS THROWN A CURVEBALL

Josh Turner was thrown a curveball while in New York, N.Y. promoting his new Cracker Barrel exclusive album, Josh Turner Live Across America. While visiting MLBs Fan Cave, Turner received an unexpected surprise when he ran into Phil Niekro, one of his biggest baseball heroes, along with Tim Wakefield who were promoting Knuckleball!, their new film.

Niekro, a.k.a. "Knucksie," became known for his unstoppable knuckleball pitches while with the Atlanta Braves and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997. Fellow knuckleballer, Wakefield, is most remembered for his longevity in the sport and his 17 years with the Boston Red Sox before his retirement earlier this year.

Being a huge Atlanta Braves baseball fan, Josh frequents Turner Field with his wife, Jennifer, and three sons (Hampton, Colby and Marion) to watch games when he's not out on the road performing shows.

Is there a song in his future about the infamous 'tomahawk chop'? Only time will tell!
