Nashville, TN – MCA Nashville’s Josh Turner has just been awarded another Platinum certification for sales reaching 1 million for his hit songs “Your Man” and “Would You Go With Me.” Both songs appear on Turner’s DOUBLE-PLATINUM selling Your Man which MCA released in 2006.

Furthermore, Turner’s single “Time Is Love” from his critically acclaimed new album Punching Bag has also reached GOLD status for sales topping 500,000.

"’Your Man’ and ‘Would You Go With Me’ are both incredibly special songs to me.  These songs gave me my first two #1 singles and I have great memories of the times surrounding both,” says Turner.

Along with “Time Is Love” Turner has received GOLD certifications for his hits “Long Black Train” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance.” Furthermore, Turner previously received a Platinum certification for his 2003 album Long Black Train and a Gold Certification for the 2007 album Everything Is Fine.

Turner’s rich baritone voice has established him as one of the most recognizable artists in country music, garnering recognition for having BMI’s “Song of the Year” and one of ASCAP’s Top 5 Most Played Songs of 2011 with his #1 hit single “All Over Me,” as well as Mediabase’s “Most Played Song of 2010” with his four-week #1 smash “Why Don’t We Just Dance.” Turner is also recognized for other chart-topping radio hits, including “Firecracker,” “I Wouldn’t Be A Man,” “Everything Is Fine,” “Me and God,” among others.
