Tune in to American Idol on Thursday, May 19 at 8/7 pm CT to see Josh surprise finalist Scotty McCreery at his hometown celebration in Garner, N.C. During McCreery’s performance, Josh walked on the stage and completely shocked the 17-year old singer. They performed “Your Man” – Scotty’s self-proclaimed theme song – and his favorite song of all time, “Long Black Train.”
Special behind the scenes footage will be posted this Friday on Josh's video page.
Josh's current single "I Wouldn't Be A Man" is steadily moving up the charts. The debut single from his current album Haywire, “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” a four-week No. 1 hit was the most-played song at country radio in 2010, according to Mediabase. It also won an American Country Award for Single of the Year-Male in December. His last single, “All Over Me,” also reached No. 1, making him one of only seven country artists to have two No. 1 hits in 2010.
