I doubt this post will ever make its way to Josh Turner, but it's worth a try. I recently attended Mr. Turner's concert at Country USA in Oshkosh, and I could not believe the amount of talent he exudes. His vocal range and the timbre of his voice are enough to send chills down anybody's spine. I knew from the radio that he had an outstanding voice, but hearing his voice live was even more impressive. Even the content of his songs are excellent, and they convey a lot of positive messages.

However, there was one aspect of his concert that was a disappointment for me. I never felt connected with the performance. The introductions to the songs were standard cookie cutter phrases that could have been used at any concert. Had he used the introductions to tell more about himself and the stories behind the songs, I would have felt like I knew him better. This was the first time I had ever seen him in concert, and I didn't feel very motivated to listen to the songs. Hopefully, with more concert experience he can open up more and really get the crowd going.
