Josh on the Opry

JOSH Welcomes Keith Urban! Grand Ole Opry April 21, 2012. Nan Kelley first introduced JOSH tonight saying, he’s been a member of the GOO since 2007 and he has one of the most identifiable and soulful voices in county music ladies and gents JOSH TURNER. JOSH sang WDWJD. Tonight was Keith Urban’s induction show. Nan introduced Pete Fisher, Trace Atkins and JOSH to do the honors. The first to speak was JOSH who said, ‘I’m happy to be with you Keith I’ve been an Opry Member 5 years and Trace 9 years, so I’ll hand it off to the old man.’ After the official ceremony JOSH was welcomed back by Nan. JOSH began with, ‘Congratulation again Keith’ then said, ‘this is the single off my new Punching Bag album in stores June 12 – Time Is Love. That’s as far as I got to listen!

Josh was great, as always. He sang TIL and WDWJD. I also listened online to the 9:30 show which was awesome. I wish all Josh fans could have heard Little Jimmy Dickens intro of Josh. As Josh said - it almost brought him to tears- it was very special. I always love to hear about the respect others in the industry have for Josh. Josh was very talkative - I enjoyed the stories he told. Then he sang WYGWM and LBT. I am very grateful to wsm for making it possible to listen online. Wish I could have been there, but enjoyed listening.
