An AMAZING night with Josh Turner Live on HSN....
Yes, having been one of the lucky FC members that was selected to attend the HSN Live Josh Turner Concert - what a fun and exciting night we had!!! We were on the 3rd row in the center section with an awesome view of Josh and the band; and yes my hubby was on camera ALOT!!! LOL all you could see of me was an occasional face shot but mostly shots of arms and hands and tons of clapping and cheering!!!! Before the concert started they did some "Josh Trivia" for some prizes--yep I won one for knowing the names of the boys.... Having never been on a live production set, it was very exciting --there were cameras and production people everywhere. The "set" was great -- loved the videos on the big screen with each of the songs. There were approximately 100 people and the HSN staff there, so it was like a mini Fan Club setting and you could tell that everyone was a JT Fan and was honored to be there. We stood on every song, cheered and carried on so---Loved the new songs that were sang from the new album (and all the past hits we love so much)---but I have to say that when he sang "I Was There" he had everyone's attention and that was such a moving song. Josh has a way of putting life in every song he sings--(Josh also made note during the Post Chat that this was the first time they had performed "I Was There") I am so looking forward to the release of the new CD. Closing out the concert Josh preformed "WDWJD" and at the end he threw his guitar pick my way and yes I am the lucky lady with the "Josh Turner Punching Bag" guitar pick!!!!! Now how cool is that, because I never dreamed that I would ever have one thrown my way and actually get it!!!!! The Post Show Chat was fun, he answered questions from some of the fans and they put Tweet and Face Book comments up on the big screen--- I know many of you watched the show, so I will say it was an AMAZING NITE and we had so much fun...A show that will be a special memory!!!!!

Headlines were definitely made May 25, 2012 and I so enjoyed your review and the way you articulated the excitement in the studio. It’s so neat that you and your husband got to be so memorably exposed on this HSN special with JOSH. I loved seeing how accessible JOSH appeared during the program to the in house audience as well as the television audience. What a great way to surprise the honored fans with some prizes before the concert. I think it was clever of HSN knowing that the fans were about to have strong emotional moments hearing JOSH’s new music to have before the concert started some moments of silliness with the JOSH Trivia.. Congrats on winning with Hampton, Colby & Marion!. I bet you knew the answers to all the trivia questions. Like you I love all the Turner classics, but after Time Is Love, my expectations have been high and when I heard the song I Was There-speechless! He just proved his dominance as a mega country star. Give JOSH a microphone and new religious ballad and the audience is hypnotized. Now we know 2 songs from Punching Bag Time Is Love & I Was There are poised to do for JOSH what Your Man, Would You Go With Me, ALL Over Me & Why Don’t We Just Dance did. Congrats to you too on your J. OTIS Punching Bag guitar pick…way to go gurl! It’s no wonder you enjoyed this amazing night, you got this wonderful intimate concert along with a post-show chat, a guitar pick, trivia prize plus a breath of fresh country air with JOSH TURNER. Thank you betheda for letting me love the show a little more.

Yes "sito" we have heard four songs from the new PB release," Time Is Love", "Good Problem", "Punching Bag" and "I Was There"-----indicating a "knock-out" CD coming our way. :)
I also forgot to mention that before the show everyone was given an autographed vintage Punching Bag Poster!!!!! Just a memorable nite for everyone!!!!!!

I’m wired to obsess about the JOSH TURNER new music from Punching Bag. He is so blessed with that amazing voice…what a remarkable formula he has for making hit songs. Betheda, you are spot on about saying he puts his life in his music and those SC good natured roots prevails. He is so sincere and really a nice first-class guy. Who can’t relate to his music? OH, an autographed vintage Punching Bag poster, sounds like JOSH gave you the fan-appreciation treatment. I have a feeling you are right about a 'knock-out' coming (Punching Bag)!
Had the DVR set up to record
Had the DVR set up to record Josh's appearance on HSN as I couldn't watch it live (darn it!)! But I was up early the next day to check it out and have already went back and watched it a couple more times!! Obviously the hits he sang were AWESOME, but to hear the new songs he performed were just amazing!! Of course TIME IS LOVE is an instant Josh classic, but the other 3 new songs he performed were just as outstanding! I LOVE the story behind the writing of the song PUNCHING BAG and I can most definitely relate to the song at times! GOOD PROBLEM and I WAS THERE also sound like #1 hits to me!! I predict the new CD is going to push Josh's career into the stratosphere!! Can't wait for my copy to arrive on June 12th!!
Forgot to mention another
Forgot to mention another reason why I kept the HSN special on my DVR...my wife was able to watch the show live and tweeted into the show and her tweet appeared during WOULD YOU GO WITH ME?!! So not only do we get to watch Josh's awesome performance, but now we get to see my wife's television debut (even if it is only a tweet!!)!! LOL!!
