Josh Turner

The Country Music Walk Of Fame ceremony was held yesterday in downtown Nashville.  Josh Turner introduced his musical hero Randy Travis by reciting lyrics from a song he had written early in his career, in honor of Travis, entitled “Thank That Man.” The lyrics to the bridge of the song are:
 

Randy, no matter where you are
Your songs will always be in my heart
A hero is what you are to me
And a legend is what you’ll always be

 
"That’ll leave you at a loss for words," Travis responded. 
 
"Inducting Randy Travis into the Country Music Walk of Fame was such an honor for me because he is my hero," says Turner. "He's very deserving of his star!"
 
Turner is confirmed to present an award on “The 42nd Annual CMA Awards” November 12 and he is nominated in the Musical Event of the Year category for “Another Try” featuring Trisha Yearwood.
